To give is to share… Giving is sometimes hurting but the end thereof is fulfillment and great gain in the Lord. We wanted our children to give more, for in giving you will feel satisfaction within. It’s in giving that we learned to share and give more.

Before, I find it hard to give, but when I learned the way of giving generously, I learned to give more and more. And blessings just overflow. We can’t out-give God – the more we gave the more we receive something in return. It is in giving that He gave His only son Jesus Christ in order to save us from our sins and trespasses. It’s in giving that we have life eternal with Him.

That’s why this blog is more of sharing and giving because we are blessed when we give more…

One way of showing your care and love to someone is by sharing and giving. When we share we give without any hesitation or hang ups. We give because we love to give and we want to share to others what we have.

That’s the attitude of our 8-year old son now. Before, when he was still 2 years old he could hardly give, what he wants, he gets. But when he turned 5, he learned to give and share what he has.

It’s in sharing that we want to give and show our love. He learned to share his toys and food although there are times that he wanted to eat more and share less when he likes the food. But gradually, he learned many things and enjoy doing it.

Sharing something is always the desire of our heart as a family. We love to share about our things or even the love of Jesus to people who don’t know Him as their Lord and Saviour.

When were in Thailand last year, hubby enjoys giving food to our neighbors and giving clothes to the little children with AJ, our 8-year old. Even during his birthday, he can’t stay without inviting his friends around to come for his birthday. It’s always memorable to him. He enjoys sharing anything even his toys to some little children to make them happy as well.

Christmas is coming few days from now, a time of sharing, giving gifts and having parties everywhere. Family members are having more fun with other extended families for one purpose, to celebrate Christmas.

For some people, it is a great celebration for a big reunion. People are excited to meet friends and relatives. However, not everybody are enjoying, others felt unwanted, staying in the corners or beside the streets without a family to take care of, for them it is a time of sadness. They are the less fortunate and needy.

But our Great Father loves them so much! He takes care of them, loves them and use people to help them. It’s a privilege on our part to be used by Him to bless these less fortunate. I will be excited to give and share something to them.
